Medzoomer hires high volumes of gig workers across hundreds of locations to support delivery for its pharmacy partners across the United States. Every new partner launch meant tracking candidates through dozens of hiring pipelines by hand, and the work took hours every day. That changed when Medzoomer began using Cue, Fountain’s AI copilot. Now Medzoomer’s operations team gets nationwide reports in minutes, launches new locations in half the time, and puts the hours it saves back into finding the right candidates.
The Challenge: Hours of Manual Tracking Across Hundreds of Locations
Medzoomer’s business runs on fast, high-volume launches. But knowing where each launch stood meant inspecting every hiring pipeline, one at a time.
“Prior to Cue, my team would spend, I would say, at least four hours a day manually scrubbing each portion of the hiring process, to see where they stood and to make assessments on where they needed to go,” says Treyc Zapien, Vice President of Operations at Medzoomer. “We have hundreds of locations. That takes a ton of time.”
Even then, the data wasn’t reliable. “Prior to Cue, it was very hard for us to understand, ‘Hey, this specific funnel is behind.’ I’d have to look at each step. I couldn’t get it into an Excel file. If I did, it was very manual,” Treyc says.
The Turning Point: Value From Day One
The impact was immediate. “When my team started using Cue, we saw a reduction in the manual work almost immediately,” Treyc says. “From day one, I was able to go in and immediately see the value in the product.”
Instead of pulling data by hand, Treyc asks Cue for exactly what the team needs. “I can now simply ask Cue to provide: ‘Write me a list of all approved applicants for X, Y, and Z locations,’ and I’ll have a list in one minute. Then my team can just take that and go execute, as opposed to spending the time trying to just collect all the data needed to support this.”
From 4 Hours to 5 Minutes: Launching New Locations 2x Faster
The real test came with a large rollout for a pharmacy partner. “My team was doing a large pharmacy rollout of 30 pharmacies, and we had one month to accomplish the task. I would have had to look into each of these pipelines, manually extract this, and I would have to create all the Excel files myself, doing individual exports,” Treyc says. “What Cue did was combine all these things into one, and within five minutes, provide me with the complete report that I needed across the entire United States.”
With Cue, Medzoomer has:
- Cut launch timelines in half, from four weeks to two
- Reduced report creation by 98%, from 4 hours to 5 minutes
- Hit 90%+ success rates on new launches
- Replaced 15 individual workflows with a single daily summary
“Now I can stand up launches within two weeks with tremendous quality, 90 plus percent success rates, versus what would take me four weeks prior, and I can do it with extreme certainty,” Treyc says.
One Playbook for the Whole Team
The time savings came with something just as valuable: consistency. “Instead of 15 people doing this individually, I can now control this, provide them the data that I need to see, and they have it in their hands without having to do the task,” Treyc says.
“It’s more than just time savings. It’s the uniformity that I’m able to provide by keeping it in a single source,” Treyc says. “Now everyone’s operating on the same playbook, and they know where stalls might be occurring with our candidate pipelines, and they also know exactly what the expectation is.”
Time Back for Sourcing the Right Candidates
With reporting handled, the team now spends its time on the work that moves hiring forward. “Having the speed that Cue provides allows the team to spend less time sifting through reports, and it allows us to spend more time on sourcing the right candidates for the business,” Treyc says. “I can invest more time into training. I can invest more time into interviewing.”
Cue also helps the team find problems before they grow. “What Cue allows me to do is essentially see smoke before the fire starts because I have the right reporting,” Treyc says.
Firm Start Dates, Lower Attrition
Reliable data changed the candidate experience too. Medzoomer used to push launch dates back when it couldn’t tell how close it was to its hiring targets. Now it can commit.
“Cue has helped our attrition drop by 4% at Medzoomer because I’m able to give candidates consistency in when they’re going to start,” Treyc says. “We’re able to give them very firm launch dates, and that is the sole indicator of the only thing that we’ve changed that it has attributed to our drop in attrition as a business.”
A True Partnership
“Fountain, as a partner to Medzoomer, has been a pivotal function of our business and helping scale the team,” Treyc says. “I think the Fountain team really invests time in their customers.”
The Results: A Lifeline for the Business
Cue has become so central to Medzoomer’s operations that running out of credits wasn’t an option. “We started our Cue subscription with a smaller amount of credits. As we ran out of credits, I was pulling my hair out,” Treyc says. “I was yelling to my founder: ‘Hey, we need Cue. This is going to make our business that much better. I can’t operate without this anymore.’”
“It’s that much of a lifeline for our business right now. I don’t know how to operate without it after operating with it.”
